Purrkinese is a registered cattery with the Cat Fanciers’ Association. We are located in sunny Florida. Our goal is to produce healthy, loving, and well-socialized kittens which fit the CFA breed standard.

All of our kittens are raised inside our home in a cageless environment. We have a very small breeding program with only several litters planned each year. This allows us to give the pregnant queen and kittens our utmost attention and care. As we are a boutique cattery, we have time for every single cat in the house. They are cuddled and loved on from the day they are born. Kittens are raised underfoot and are very spoiled! We do not keep a stud male in order to devote our complete attention to the needs of the queen and her kittens.

We prefer to place most of our kittens as pampered pets, with a strict spay/neuter agreement. We place our kittens with people who will care for them as a privileged member of their family and treat them with love, respect and every kindness possible, and who shall provide them with the best veterinary care and accessories. These kitties must be kept indoors at all times, for their health, safety and well-being.

We bought our first Pendragon Tonkinese in 1999 (“Baby”) from Bill Ohman and started showing Tonkinese in 2006. Laurie Holmes of Pendragon has mentored us in both showmanship and breeding and has been an invaluable source of information and knowledge. We are very grateful for the assistance she has given us.
