Gracie is in an all-breed show ring being judged by Douglas Myers.
Notice the airplane ears!
Gracie is entered in the kitten class at her first cat show in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in October 2006! The cage curtains were designed by my mother.
Gracie is 5 months old at this show.
This is Rudy, my Siamese Mix neutered male. He has electric blue eyes and reaches out with his paws to pull your arm to get you to pet him! He is Misha’s brother. My fat boys were named after Rudy Nureyev and Mikhail (Misha) Baryshnikov as they appeared to be graceful when small. I never envisioned the size to which they would grow
and how inappropriate their names would become!
Misha is now tipping the scale at 16 lbs. I like to tell people he is my small Cocker Spaniel.
Where’s Waldo?? Actually, this is Sissy, a bottle fed baby that I raised from 17 days of age, lounging on my daughter’s unmade bed. She was part of a litter of kittens that some of my students
discovered in a tree on campus. Of course, they brought the whole litter in a box to me knowing that I liked cats! Sissy is now a law office kitty and is fondly referred to
as the “office manager.” She has some wonderful spots on her back and I believe she has Ocicat in her.
Baby loves to curl up with Misha and clean his face. Bye bye eyebrows!
